Purpose of This Policy

Our safeguarding policy is designed to: Protect children from harm, abuse, or exploitation.

Provide clear guidelines for photographers and staff.

Promote a safe, secure, and supportive environment during school photography sessions.

Code of Conduct for Photographers & Staff

All School Fotos team members are required to:

Treat every child with respect, dignity, and sensitivity.

Never engage in abusive, harmful, or exploitative behavior. Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries at all times

. Report any concerns of child abuse or neglect to the Child Protection Officer (CPO) immediately.

Staff Training & Awareness

To ensure the highest safeguarding standards, all staff and photographers receive mandatory training, covering:

Recognizing signs of abuse or neglect.

Correct reporting procedures and responsibilities.

Understanding and following this Child Protection Policy.

Child Protection Officer (CPO)

We appoint a designated Child Protection Officer (CPO) responsible for:

Handling reports or safeguarding concerns.

Ensuring compliance with child protection laws.

Keeping records of incidents, actions, and follow-ups.

Parental Consent & Communication

Parents or guardians are informed in advance about school photography sessions.

Information includes the purpose of the session and how the images will be used.

Supervision During Sessions

A minimum of one additional adult (besides the photographer) will be present during sessions.

Parents or guardians may attend if permitted by the school.

Privacy & Data Protection
